Estonian defence technology startup Vegvisir has announced venture backing from Iron Wolf Capital, in a deal aimed at accelerating development of its command and control software for multi-domain operations. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Based in Tallinn, Vegvisir is building a unified software layer designed to connect, visualise and command manned and unmanned systems across ground, air, maritime and sub-sea domains. The company said the new funding will support product development, deepen integrations with allied unmanned platform providers, and expand its pipeline with commercial and government customers across NATO member states.

The announcement also highlights support from existing shareholder Kuldar Väärsi, CEO of Milrem Robotics, who is a personal investor in the company. The investment comes as European defence spending rises and NATO allies place greater emphasis on interoperable, software-led systems for coordinating increasingly complex battlefield operations.
