Archimede, a startup based in Siracusa, Italy, has raised €1.5 million in seed funding, surpassing its initial €1 million target.

The round was led by Primo Capital through its Primo Digital, Primo Digital Parallel Italia and Primo Digital Parallel Sud Italia funds, with participation from CDP Venture Capital SGR, Plug and Play, ELIS through CrossConnect, 40Jemz Ventures and Irritec.

Founded in 2024, Archimede develops ArchMesh, a modular plug-and-play kit designed to manage and monitor critical infrastructure in off-grid environments. The system combines predictive energy management, multi-constellation satellite connectivity and a low-code software platform to enable bidirectional control of plants and distributed assets in areas with limited or unreliable terrestrial coverage.

The company is targeting a growing need for tools that can support remote industrial and infrastructure operations, particularly where connectivity and power constraints remain a barrier.
