Dublin-based Trustap has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Aperture Capital, with participation from TX Ventures and existing investors, the company said on 10 June 2026.

Trustap develops payments and transaction protection technology for online marketplaces and peer-to-peer platforms, offering escrow-style milestone payments, identity verification and dispute resolution tools. The new funding will be used for continued product development, team expansion and the launch of Trustap Index.

The company said Trustap Index is designed to make marketplace and ecommerce listings transactable by AI agents, as more shopping and transaction activity shifts toward AI-assisted discovery and purchasing. The move positions Trustap at the intersection of payments infrastructure, marketplace trust and emerging AI commerce tools.

The investment marks a new growth step for the Irish startup as it broadens its platform beyond transaction protection into infrastructure aimed at AI-led commerce.
