Banyan Software has acquired tec4U-Solutions, a Saarbrücken-based provider of material compliance software and data services for manufacturers, retailers, and product importers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2013, tec4U-Solutions develops software and services that help mid-market manufacturers and large enterprises manage ESG and material compliance requirements across global regulations. Its DataCross platform is used to manage product and supplier data, with additional support through managed data services, ERP interfaces, consulting, and training.

Under the acquisition, tec4U-Solutions will continue to operate independently from Saarbrücken, with its leadership team, staff, and product roadmap remaining in place. Banyan said it plans to back the company with long-term operational support and capital, including investment in AI, go-to-market efforts, product development, and market expansion.

The deal reflects continued investor interest in compliance software as manufacturers and suppliers face a growing volume of sustainability, product safety, and materials regulations across Europe and beyond.
