Copenhagen-based Spektr has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by New Enterprise Associates, with existing investors Northzone, Seedcamp and PSV Tech also participating.
The funding brings the fintech startup’s total raised to just under $26 million. Founded in 2023, Spektr builds compliance infrastructure for financial services firms, combining configurable workflows with AI agents that handle tasks such as document reviews, ownership mapping and risk analysis.
The company said the new capital will be used to support expansion, including hiring more engineers and opening offices in London and New York. The raise comes as financial institutions face growing pressure to modernize compliance operations that have long relied on manual processes.
