The round was led by Corteva Agriscience, with participation from Calculus Capital, Pymwymic, UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund through Future Planet Capital, SynBioVen, and AgFunder.
Resurrect Bio develops crop protection traits in-house and also works with seed companies to help protect crops from disease. The company said the new capital will be used to ramp up production of its in-house crop protection traits and further advance FloraFold AI, its computational protein-protein interaction screening tool.
The financing follows the company’s recently announced corn partnership with Corteva Agriscience, signaling continued momentum for the London startup as investors and strategic partners place bigger bets on agricultural biotechnology and AI-enabled crop development.
