NexDash, a Berlin-based freight operator focused on electrifying road freight, has raised €2.5 million from EIT Urban Mobility in a pre-Series A commitment that secures the investor’s participation in the company’s future Series A round.

The funding comes days after NexDash completed its first acquisition, March Transporte in Rheinbach, as the company looks to expand a model that combines M&A, fleet electrification and software-led operations. Founded by Michael Cassau, NexDash acquires mid-sized trucking companies, converts their fleets to electric vehicles, and runs them through its proprietary AI operating system, NexOS.

The new capital will be used to accelerate fleet conversion and support expansion across NexDash’s core markets, underscoring growing investor interest in operators trying to decarbonise European freight through consolidation and technology.
