MONA AI, a Saarbrücken-based startup developing AI recruiting software and recruiting automation tools, has raised a €3.8 million seed extension.
The round includes existing investors and new strategic backers, including Saarländische Investitionskreditbank AG, Saarup-Venture GmbH, Earlybird Venture Capital through Earlybird-X, Triathlon at Universität des Saarlandes, and angel investors Jonas Thielmann and Giuseppe Nardi.
Founded in 2022, MONA AI builds software designed to help HR teams reduce manual recruiting tasks through AI agents and automation. The company said the new funding will support expansion, scaling, and the development of new product solutions, with those priorities shaping its plans for 2026.
The deal adds to investor interest in AI tools aimed at enterprise workflows, particularly in areas such as hiring where automation and productivity remain key themes.
