Munich-based ClimateTech startup Invertix has raised €1.7 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Vireo Ventures, with participation from Italian Founders Fund and several business angels from the energy and artificial intelligence sectors.

Founded in 2026, the company develops autonomous AI agents for the renewable energy industry. Its platform is designed as an operations intelligence layer for asset managers, connecting fragmented data sources, automating analysis, and taking on operational, analytical, and regulatory tasks that are still often handled manually.

The funding will be used to expand the platform, support further market entries across Europe, and grow teams in AI engineering, software development, product, and sales. A significant share of the new roles will be based in Italy, where Invertix is building its technical center.

The round comes as energy operators face growing pressure to manage larger renewable portfolios while dealing with a shortage of specialised talent. Invertix says its AI agents are already being used to manage more than 1.8 gigawatts of solar capacity, with a commercial pipeline covering more than 10 gigawatts of renewable energy projects.
