Swiss startup CENSE has raised a €6.5 million seed round to grow its crypto compliance and evidence platform for financial institutions. The round was co-led by G+D Ventures and Rabo Investments, with additional backing from several angel investors.

A spinout of Glassnode, CENSE develops tools that help banks and other regulated institutions assess digital asset activity, document compliance processes, and manage onboarding and risk decisions. Its platform combines on-chain and off-chain intelligence with proprietary heuristics and AI-assisted workflows to turn complex crypto activity into auditable evidence.

The funding comes as banks face increasing pressure to handle crypto-related transactions with greater regulatory clarity. CENSE said it will use the new capital to accelerate its expansion across Europe, grow its sales team, strengthen its market position, and add more private and retail banks as customers.
