Energi.AI has agreed to acquire Oslo-based CEMAsys for an undisclosed amount, adding one of the Nordic region’s more established climate and sustainability advisory firms to its portfolio.
The deal gives Energi.AI control of CEMAsys’ client portfolio and specialist expertise, while quadrupling its customer base. It also brings together Energi.AI’s AI platform for automating climate data collection, analysis, and reporting with CEMAsys’ two decades of experience helping companies measure and report their climate footprint.
The acquisition highlights a broader shift in the sustainability market, where software platforms and advisory services are increasingly being combined as companies face growing pressure for faster, more precise reporting. For Energi.AI, the transaction also strengthens its position as it looks to build on recent international growth, including in the U.S. market.
