Communardo Group has signed an agreement to acquire Aety, a Copenhagen-based IT consulting firm and specialized Atlassian partner, in an undisclosed transaction backed by funds advised by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital.
The deal was signed on April 30, 2026. Aety will be integrated into Communardo Nordics as the group looks to strengthen its position in Denmark and broaden its Nordic delivery organization. The transaction is centered on Aety’s Atlassian business, while its monday.com practice will be carved out before closing and continue as an independent business.
Founded in 2016, Aety works with public sector organizations and large enterprises on Agile, DevOps, service management, and project and portfolio management. Its focus on complex, regulated environments adds to Communardo’s existing presence across DACH, BeNeLux, and the Nordics.
The acquisition follows Communardo’s earlier Nordic expansion moves, including the integration of Stretch Addera in 2025 and Ambientia’s Atlassian business in 2026. With Aety joining the platform, Communardo Nordics will operate across all four Nordic countries with nearly 100 Atlassian specialists under a shared delivery model.
