Apoha, a London- and San Francisco-based deep tech startup, has emerged from stealth with a $36 million Series A round led by Singular. Draper Associates also participated, alongside existing investors Redalpine, Seedcamp, Wilbe, and Nucleus. The company has also received support from Innovate UK.

Apoha is developing AI models to design new materials and substances using data on how materials behave in liquids under external forces. Its platform combines custom laboratory hardware, VIBE measurements, and AI models for applications across pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and advanced materials.

The company said the new funding will be used to scale its platform, expand its custom hardware for experiments, support more sample types, and serve a broader customer base. Apoha did not disclose its valuation following the round.
