NCSOFT has approved a $202 million investment to acquire a 70% stake in Berlin-based mobile gaming company JustPlay, according to an announcement made after the board decision on March 10, 2026. The transaction is expected to close at the end of April.

Founded in 2020 by former AppLovin executives, JustPlay operates a reward-based mobile gaming platform built on advertising technology and runs more than 40 internally developed and published casual games.

The deal gives NCSOFT control of a fast-growing mobile casual gaming business with an established footprint in Western markets. JustPlay generated $172.8 million in revenue and $19.1 million in operating profit in 2025, with around 70% of revenue coming from North America.

The acquisition underscores continued consolidation in mobile gaming as larger publishers seek ad tech capabilities, distribution infrastructure, and stronger positions in the casual games market.
