Barcelona-based startup Opereit has raised €2.2 million in a funding round led by Seedcamp and Yellow, with participation from Baobab Ventures, Kima Ventures, Enzo Ventures, Oprtrs, and angel investor Dídac Lee.
Opereit develops AI agents for logistics operations, focused on detecting errors in transport invoices, identifying shipment losses and damages, and filing and managing claims with transport operators. The company is targeting a part of the supply chain industry that remains heavily fragmented and reliant on manual back-office processes.
The investment points to continued investor interest in applied AI tools built for operational workflows rather than consumer-facing use cases. In logistics and commerce, where retailers and brands often struggle to recover money lost through billing mistakes and shipping issues, startups like Opereit are emerging as part of a growing effort to automate routine but financially significant tasks.
