The round was backed by Gungnir Capital, PSV Hafnium, EIFO, and a group of additional investors. Founded in 2023, the company is building autonomous aircraft for civil and defence use cases, with a focus on middle-mile logistics and cargo deliveries in hard-to-reach environments.
Acodyne said the new capital will be used to develop its E100 prototype, support full-scale prototype testing, and expand its team of aerospace engineers, designers, and business builders.
The funding comes as interest in autonomous aviation continues to grow, particularly in logistics, offshore operations, and defence, where companies are exploring alternatives to conventional cargo transport.
