The financing was led by new investor Horizon 3 Healthcare, with participation from the European Innovation Council, Invest-NL, VI Partners, EQT Life Sciences, DaVita and other current backers. The round follows €50 million secured in 2025 from the European Investment Bank and existing shareholders.
According to the company, the new funding will be used to complete the ongoing US pivotal trial of aXess, prepare for FDA submission and a US market launch, support the European commercial rollout of the product, expand manufacturing capacity, and continue clinical development of its XABG and XPAD programs.
The raise comes as Xeltis pushes ahead with both US clinical development and early commercialization in Europe, where it recently announced the first commercial patient treatment with aXess in Germany.
