Dutch AI startup Whispp has raised a €5 million follow-on investment round led by LUMO Labs, with participation from strategic angel investors and additional non-dilutive support from the European Innovation Council Accelerator.

Based in Leiden, Whispp develops real-time, on-device voice reconstruction AI that turns whispered speech into a clear, natural voice. The company says the technology is designed both for device makers bringing voice features to market and for people with voice impairments or speech disorders.

Whispp said the new funding will be used to scale global deployment of its technology, improve its proprietary AI models, build new products, expand patents and other intellectual property, strengthen management, and deepen partnerships with device manufacturers and semiconductor companies.
