Berlin and Munich-based Vivira Health Lab has raised an undisclosed growth financing from IBB Capital, BonVenture and TeleClinic co-founder Patrick Palacin, the company said on May 6, 2026.

Vivira develops digital therapeutics and DiGA products for musculoskeletal conditions, an area of care where demand remains high in Germany as patients face long waits for physiotherapy and back pain continues to be a major cause of work absence.

The company said the new funding will support the expansion of its care offering, approvals for additional therapies, and the development of new digital health services for musculoskeletal health. Artificial intelligence is expected to play a central role in improving therapy adherence, outcomes and the compliant use of patient data.

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Philip Heimann, Vivira is positioning itself to broaden its role in Germany’s digital health system as investors continue to back platforms aimed at easing capacity constraints in traditional care.
