London based startup Trent AI has officially emerged from stealth mode, announcing a 13 million USD seed funding round to advance its security platform for autonomous systems. The investment was led by LocalGlobe and Cambridge Innovation Capital, with participation from industry leaders at OpenAI, Spotify, Databricks, and Amazon Web Services.

Trent AI provides a multi agent security solution designed to address the unique vulnerabilities associated with agentic AI. The platform focuses on continuously scanning environments, assessing risks, and mitigating potential threats within autonomous workflows. As enterprises increasingly adopt agentic AI, the company aims to offer a framework for secure development and deployment.

The newly raised capital will be directed toward the continued development of the company’s specialized security agents and the expansion of its engineering team. Furthermore, Trent AI plans to leverage these funds to grow its existing customer and design partner base. The startup was founded by a team with professional backgrounds at AWS, Spotify, and Alcion.
