Gent-based Timefold has raised $13 million in a Series A round led by Alstin Capital, with participation from Kompas VC and continued backing from Lakestar and Smartfin.

The Belgian company develops APIs for vehicle routing and shift scheduling, helping enterprise software teams add scheduling optimization to field service and workforce management products. Timefold said the new funding will be used to support US expansion and further platform product development.

The round comes after a year of commercial growth. Timefold said annual recurring revenue increased fourfold in 2025, with companies including NEC Software Solutions, CBRE, Lufthansa, Thales, and Subaru using its APIs in scheduling systems tied to core operations.

The deal adds to investor interest in infrastructure software focused on operational decision-making, as enterprises look for tools that can handle complex scheduling workflows at scale.
