Sopht, a Lyon-based startup developing an IT efficiency management platform for large enterprises, has raised €7.5 million in Series A funding from Ternel, Axeleo Capital, Wind Capital and FDJ UNITED Ventures.

Announced on 24 June 2026, the round comes as companies face growing pressure to manage rising IT spending and the environmental impact of digital infrastructure, particularly as AI workloads drive further complexity across cloud, data centres, workstations and applications.

Sopht says its platform helps enterprises consolidate, measure and optimise both costs and carbon footprint across their IT estate. The new funding will be used to broaden the platform’s coverage, develop analytics and recommendation features, strengthen integrations with existing tools, support key hires and accelerate international expansion and commercial growth.

Founded in Lyon, Sopht is positioning itself in a market where CIOs are looking for more actionable ways to govern infrastructure efficiency beyond reporting alone.
