Sightera Biosciences, a techbio startup based in Antwerp, has raised €3 million in a pre-seed funding round backed by Entourage Ventures, Anacura, and Qbic Fund.
The company is developing AI-driven drug discovery technology built on patient-derived biology, with an initial focus on oncology and fibrosis. Sightera uses proprietary datasets generated from disease models to design small molecules informed by human disease biology.
The new funding will be used to expand the company’s platform technology and asset portfolio. That includes advancing its oncology program, SIGHT001, toward the preclinical candidate stage, and moving its fibrosis program, SIGHT101, into lead optimization.
