London startup Ralio has announced the closing of a $2.5 million pre-seed funding round to develop trust-layer infrastructure for agentic business payments. The company stated this is the largest investment round focused on agentic payments in Europe to date. The offering was reportedly oversubscribed by three times within three months of the company's founding.

Valley Ventures led the round with participation from Seed X, Love Ventures, Plug and Play, rule30, Adeline Arts and Science, Endurance Ventures, Campus Fund, Alan Morgan, and Antler. The capital will be deployed to build infrastructure that sits between AI agents and existing payment rails. This system is designed to verify intent and enforce rules before financial transactions are processed.

As AI agents increasingly handle corporate procurement, payroll, and treasury functions, Ralio aims to provide the necessary identity and audit tools for these automated processes. The firm is currently expanding partner integrations and moving toward facilitating live agentic payment transactions.
