Paris-based cloud gaming startup Playruo has closed a €2.1 million financing round led by Kameha Ventures and Blast Club. The investment also saw participation from Ventech, Maxime Demeure, and Nicolas Beraud. Playruo provides a platform that enables video games to be streamed directly within a browser environment, removing the need for downloads or installations for end users.

The technology serves game studios and publishers throughout the development lifecycle, facilitating tasks such as playtesting, quality assurance, press previews, and the distribution of playable marketing advertisements. The company plans to utilize these funds to accelerate the international commercialization of its services and expand its support for secure game build sharing between studios and publishers. Alongside the funding news, Playruo announced a strategic partnership with publisher PulluP Entertainment, which includes subsidiaries such as Focus Entertainment and Dotemu. This development follows a period of growth for the startup, which has already established collaborations with several major industry players.
