Oplane, a Malmö-based startup building automated security architecture for the AI-native software development lifecycle, has raised $5.2 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Seed Capital, with participation from Icebreaker.vc and angel investors from Neo4j and Google.

Oplane develops tools that bring continuous, architecture-level threat modeling into engineering workflows. Its platform maps software architecture into real-time asset graphs, identifies system-level security requirements, and surfaces contextual fixes inside developer tools used by teams building with AI.

The company said the new funding will be used to scale go-to-market efforts, deepen integrations with Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, and expand the team with senior hires across software engineering, security, QA, and go-to-market.

The raise comes as more software teams adopt AI coding tools and face growing pressure to manage security earlier in the development process.
