The round was led by dsm-firmenich Ventures, with participation from FoodSeed, the foodtech programme of CDP Venture Capital’s National Accelerator Network, established by CDP Venture Capital and Eatable Adventures through Accelera Ventures.
Nous said the funding will be used to support further clinical studies, strengthen scientific substantiation, expand its supply chain across Europe and Asia, and scale technological infrastructure and production. The company also plans to use the capital to support US market entry as it looks to broaden the reach of Koncentra.
The investment reflects continued investor interest in science-backed functional ingredients as food, beverage and nutraceutical companies seek new products tied to energy, focus and wellbeing.
