Italian startup niino has raised a €1.3 million pre-seed round to expand its digital platform for non-urgent medical transport. The round was led by 40Jemz Ventures, with backing from Italian tech entrepreneurs Michele Grazioli, Danila De Stefano, Massimiliano Squillace, Alessandro Braga, Francesco Zaccariello, and Fabrizio Perrone.
Niino is building a platform designed to simplify healthcare mobility through online booking, real-time ride updates, and digital management of documents and payments. The company is targeting a segment that remains largely managed through phone calls, email, and manual workflows.
The new funding will be used to scale operations across Italy, grow niino’s national network of transport operators, accelerate platform development, and introduce new features built around optimization algorithms and intelligent ride assignment.
