Maple Aviation, a healthcare drone logistics startup based in Ottobrunn, Germany, has raised €4 million in seed funding to accelerate the rollout of its medical cargo network.

Founded in 2022, the company is developing UAV technology focused on transporting medication and laboratory samples between hospitals and laboratories. The round was backed by Bayern Kapital, ES KAPITAL, Rüdiger Schmidt, Stefan Eishold, Martin Giese of Cambridge Ventures, Bernd Baezner, and superangels. Maple Aviation also received grant support from the Regierung von Oberbayern and the European Space Agency.

The funding comes as Maple Aviation moves toward commercial deployment of its healthcare-focused drone logistics network, targeting faster and more efficient delivery of time-sensitive medical supplies.
