Lucis, a Paris-based preventive health platform, has raised a $20 million Series A led by Singular, with participation from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and angel investors including backers of Runna, as well as Céline Lazorthes and Manu Lecomte.

The new financing comes just four months after Lucis announced an $8 million seed round, bringing its total funding to $28 million. Founded by Maxime Berthelot, the company said it will use the capital to expand across Europe and continue developing its AI-driven health companion app.

Lucis offers blood biomarker analysis and an AI-powered app that delivers personalised health recommendations reviewed by physicians. The platform analyses more than 110 blood biomarkers as part of its broader push into preventive, data-driven healthcare.
