Grand Games, the Istanbul-based mobile gaming studio behind Magic Sort and Car Match, has raised $70 million in a Series B round led by Balderton Capital Growth Fund, with participation from Bek Ventures, Laton Ventures and angel investor Mert Gür.
The new financing brings the company’s total funding to $103 million. Founded in early 2024, Grand Games was started by a team that previously built Zen Match at Moon Active.
The funding points to continued investor interest in Turkey’s mobile gaming market, where startups have attracted significant backing in recent years. Grand Games said it plans to use the capital for hiring, developing additional titles and expanding user acquisition spending.
