European Technology Network, a London-based tech media startup, has raised $1.6 million in seed funding from Powerhouse Capital, Axel Springer SE, a co-founder of LADbible, and angel investors from OpenAI and DeepMind.

The company runs livestreamed coverage of tech news and trends on X and YouTube, and said the new capital will fund a move into a larger studio in Kings Cross, team expansion, the launch of a newsletter, and a shift from two live shows a week to a five-day schedule.

The round reflects continued investor interest in media formats built around live tech coverage, particularly as founders, investors, and AI companies look for faster ways to reach industry audiences.
