Rotterdam-based healthtech startup Ditto has raised €7.6 million to expand its patient-focused healthcare AI product into new European markets and broaden its offering across the patient journey.

The round was led by Heal Capital, with participation from Rubio Impact Ventures. Existing backer Chris Oomen, through Optiverder, also continued to support the company.

Ditto develops AI that helps patients revisit and understand what was discussed during a medical consultation by generating a clear, shareable summary. The company says the funding will support expansion beyond the Netherlands into Germany, the UK and Spain, while also backing further product development.

The raise comes as healthcare AI investment continues to concentrate largely on tools for clinicians and hospital workflows, while companies like Ditto are targeting the patient side of care delivery. Ditto says it is now approaching 100,000 users in the Netherlands.
