Paris-based startup Davis has raised $5.5 million in pre-seed funding to build AI systems for feasibility studies and architectural design in real estate development, a sector where early-stage workflows often still take weeks or months.
The round was led by Heartcore Capital and Balderton Capital, with participation from Yellow, Evantic, Entrepreneur First, and P&P. Angel investors from the founding teams of Spacemaker, Black Forest Labs, Hugging Face, Supabase, Cleo, and Spore.bio also joined.
Davis says it is developing an AI-native model for early-stage real estate work, combining proprietary systems with in-house architects to deliver site analysis, regulatory diagnostics, volumetrics, financial modeling, floor plans, and unit mix optimization. The company aims to reduce a process that traditionally involves multiple firms and fragmented handoffs from months to days.
The funding will be used to accelerate that effort as Davis bets that real estate development is next in line for a shift from software tools toward AI systems that deliver completed work directly.
