Wayflyer has acquired Dublin-based Conjura, an AI-driven ecommerce analytics platform, in a deal with undisclosed financial terms.

The acquisition brings Conjura’s data and analytics capabilities into Wayflyer as the fintech company expands its AI product roadmap for small business customers. All of Conjura’s employees are set to join Wayflyer as part of the transaction.

Founded in 2018, Conjura developed software that helps ecommerce merchants unify data across sales, marketing and operations, using machine learning and natural-language tools to surface insights on growth, demand and profitability. The company had previously raised backing from Act Venture Capital, MiddleGame Ventures and Tribal VC, with funding used to support product development and international growth.

The deal also reflects a longstanding connection between the two companies, with Wayflyer having originally been incubated within Conjura before spinning out as a standalone business. The acquisition underscores continued demand for AI tools that turn fragmented commerce data into more actionable business intelligence.
