Cognibotics, a robotics company based in Lund, Sweden, has been selected for €6.5 million in blended finance from the European Innovation Council Accelerator under the Horizon Europe programme.

The funding package includes a €2.5 million grant and €4 million in equity financing. It will support the next phase of development and industrialisation of the company’s HKM1800 robot platform, alongside further work on the software and automation approach behind the project.

Cognibotics is developing motion technology for logistics and manufacturing, with a modular stack spanning motion control, arm kinematics, real-time software and motion programming. The new funding is expected to help the company scale its automation offering for industrial applications.
