Bubble Robotics, a Dübendorf, Switzerland-based robotics startup, has emerged from stealth with a $5 million pre-seed round to develop autonomous systems for continuous offshore inspection, monitoring, and data collection.
The round was led by Episode1 Ventures, Asterion Ventures, and Norrsken Evolve, following the company’s launch out of Entrepreneurs First. Founded in 2025 by former robotics engineers from NASA and ETH Zurich, Bubble Robotics is building resident robotic systems designed to operate offshore for extended periods with limited human intervention.
The company said the funding will be used to continue technology development and support its initial deployments across energy, environmental, and maritime applications.
