Berlin-based AI company beatsquares has raised $2 million in seed funding, in a round co-led by IBB Ventures and XTR Capital with participation from ddvg, V-Ventures, and business angels.

The company, which builds an AI operating system for professional communication, said the new capital will be used to expand its team, advance the product, and support international growth. The funding follows a $500,000 pre-seed round in October 2024.

beatsquares develops AI agents that turn existing content into formats including social media, newsletters, podcasts, and on-site offerings for publishers, communications teams, brands, and thought leaders. The company says early customers include Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, and Messe Berlin.

The round adds to investor interest in AI tools aimed at helping media and communications organizations repurpose and distribute content more efficiently across channels.
