Its flagship product, PlanetSorb, is a naturally biodegradable high-performance superabsorbent polymer (SAP) intended to replace fossil-based plastics in nappies, sanitary products and other applications. PlanetSorb is reported to biodegrade within six months without leaving microplastics and absorb more than 1 litre per gram, enabling thinner products and lower material use.
