The company said the new capital will be used to develop its AI Operating System, designed to help SMEs address technological fragmentation and apply artificial intelligence more directly to day-to-day operations. Webidoo has already launched AI-based products including Groow, Jooice and Welpy, which are used by companies in Italy and abroad.
The round will also support international expansion, with a particular focus on the US market, alongside a strategic M&A plan targeting SaaS and marketing technology companies.
With this financing, Webidoo said it has raised more than $30 million to date, including a 2021 round backed by 8a+ Investimenti and TIM Ventures, which continue to support the company.
