Wayout International AB, a Swedish company developing distributed drinking water infrastructure, has closed a SEK 26.6 million Series A extension, with the round oversubscribed by SEK 10.6 million.

The financing drew support from existing shareholders as well as new strategic investors. The company said the capital will be used to move from technology development into commercial deployment, including its first commercial projects, further industrialization of its platform, expanded strategic partnerships and broader international market activity.

Wayout develops decentralized water microfactories, reusable vessel systems, smart dispensing technology and digital monitoring tools aimed at enabling local production and distribution of safe drinking water. The raise marks a new phase for the company as it shifts focus from validation to rollout in global markets.
