Founded in 2022 by Nicolas De Bruyne and Jona Decubber, the company develops software that predicts appointments at risk of no-shows, sends tailored reminders, fills cancelled slots from waiting lists, and uses an AI receptionist to manage confirmations and rescheduling. Koen Lepez, who initially backed the company as an investor, became CEO in September 2024.
TurnUp said the new capital will be used to further develop its platform, strengthen operations in Belgium and the Netherlands, expand its commercial and customer service teams, and support its push into the UK. The company is already running a pilot there with a dental group operating 400 practices.
Before this round, TurnUp had also secured a €214,000 innovation grant from Vlaio and €1 million from business angels.
