Vienna-based Synaps has raised $3.6 million in a pre-seed round announced in November 2025, with backing from Plug and Play and Fil Rouge Capital.
The startup is developing an AI-native collaborative design platform for architects, built around a browser-based real-time canvas. Its product uses natural language prompts to generate architectural outputs, including vector-based floorplans as well as 2D, 3D, and video renderings.
The round comes as Synaps reports early traction while still in beta. The company says it has reached 60,000 users, 1,500 daily active users, and hundreds of paying customers. Synaps also says it has grown to a team of 17 and moved its headquarters to San Francisco.
The funding points to continued investor interest in applied AI software aimed at professional design workflows, particularly tools that seek to streamline complex creative and technical tasks.
