Dublin-based fintech Seapoint has raised €7.5 million in seed funding, bringing its total funding to €10 million, as it opens its platform to startup founders across the UK and Ireland.

The round was led by 13Books, with participation from Ventures Together, Portfolio Ventures, more than 40 angel investors, and returning backers Frontline Ventures and Tapestry VC. Individual investors included Claire Hughes Johnson, George Bevis and Des Traynor.

Seapoint is building a platform for startup founders focused on AI-native financial automation and integrated financial products, including multi-currency accounts, treasury and virtual cards. The company says more than 80 businesses are already using the platform to manage their finances.

The funding comes as founders face growing pressure to manage cash more closely and extend runway in a tougher financing environment. Seapoint is positioning itself around financial visibility and operational control from the earliest stages of company building.
