London-based fintech startup Round has secured 6 million USD in seed funding to scale its AI-powered finance automation platform. The company provides infrastructure that integrates with existing banking and accounting systems to automate approvals, payroll, and cash management workflows.

The investment round included participation from Alstin Capital, Backed VC, Love Ventures, and Passion Capital. Notable angel investors, including Indeed co-founder Paul Forster, also contributed to the round. In a demonstration of customer confidence, approximately 10 percent of Round's current user base participated in the funding.

Alongside the capital announcement, Round has launched an Agentic Workflow Builder and an Autonomous Payroll product. The company intends to use the new funds to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams, deepen its banking integrations, and support community-led growth initiatives. This funding marks a significant milestone for the platform as it seeks to replace manual financial processes with autonomous, rule-based operations.
