Founded in 2024 as a spin-off from the Technical University of Berlin, reverse.fashion develops AI-supported textile sorting systems that categorize garments by condition, style, brand, size, and material composition. The technology is designed to support more precise sorting for resale and higher-quality recycling.
The new funding will be used to expand existing pilot projects, continue development of co.sort, and support the market entry and commercial rollout of line.sort, the company’s industrial sorting solution. The raise highlights continued investor interest in automation tools aimed at improving efficiency in textile reuse and recycling.
