Paris-based NP Company, an AI-native simulation software startup spun out of Inria, has raised €6 million in pre-seed funding to develop foundational models for physical engineering.

The round was led by Partech, with participation from the Peugeot family office and angel investors Guillaume Lample, Cédric O, Florian Douetteau, and Vincent Luciani. The company was founded in 2025 by Emmanuel Menier and Matthieu Nastorg.

NP Company is building pre-trained AI simulators designed to deliver high-fidelity physics simulations in seconds rather than days, targeting sectors including aerospace, defense, energy, electronics, data centers, and automotive.

The new funding will be used to expand the research team and continue development of its foundational models, alongside longer-term work on automated design tools and real-time operational simulators for industrial infrastructure.
