The round was led by 2C Ventures, with participation from existing investors Specialist VC, Superangel, Amalfi, the Health Founders syndicate led by Erki Mölder, and the Estonian Business Angels Network syndicate led by Heidi Kakko and Martin Gorosko.
Nanordica said the funding will be used to complete a multicenter randomized clinical study, strengthen the economic case for Premotiv, and finalize CE marking ahead of a commercial launch in Europe.
The company is developing Premotiv as a treatment for diabetic foot ulcers, a condition that remains a significant clinical challenge and a major burden for healthcare systems.
