Berlin-based n8n has announced a strategic investment from SAP alongside a multi-year commercial partnership, in a deal that values the AI orchestration platform at $5.2 billion. The valuation is more than double the $2.5 billion level the company reached less than a year ago. The investment amount was not disclosed.

As part of the agreement, n8n’s workflow automation platform will be embedded within Joule Studio, SAP’s agent-building environment in SAP Business AI Platform. The move brings n8n’s automation and multi-agent orchestration capabilities into SAP’s enterprise AI stack, as demand grows for tools that can connect AI models, business systems, and internal workflows.

Founded in Berlin, n8n provides a platform for building automated AI workflows across business tools, databases, and AI models. The deal signals both a sharp rise in n8n’s valuation and a deeper push by SAP to expand the infrastructure behind enterprise agentic AI.
