Lexroom, an Italian artificial intelligence startup focused on the legal sector, has closed a €16 million Series A round made up of primary and secondary capital, according to the company.

The round was led by Silicon Valley venture firm Base10 Partners, with participation from Acurio Ventures, View Different, Riccardo Zacconi and other strategic angel investors. Existing backers Entourage, Verve Ventures and Joe Zadeh also joined the financing. Following the deal, Base10 general partner Rexhi Dollaku is set to join Lexroom’s board. Completion of the investment remains subject to review under Italy’s Golden Power rules.

Founded in 2023, Lexroom develops a generative AI platform for lawyers and legal professionals, covering legal research, document drafting and strategic advisory support. The company said it plans to use the new funding to accelerate its international expansion.
